Eicher Motors saw a sharp decline in commercial vehicle sales in June 2019.
The company's total commercial vehicle sales dipped 28.5% to 4,569 units in June 2019 vs. 6,390 units sold in the same month last year.
The drop in sales was owing to both domestic sales and exports.
Domestic commercial vehicle sales plummeted 24.7% yoy to 4,136 units and exports fell a whopping 55% to 366 units in June 2019.
Despite the dismal sales numbers, the company's stock was up by Rs361.7 or 1.89%.
