Equity benchmark indices have gained momentum in the noon trade and trading near day's high. The Sensex was up 138 points to 39,035, while the Nifty is trading above 11,600 marks, rose 42 points.
The Nifty Realty index gained over 2% as heavy buying was observed in Prestige, DLF, Godrej Properties and Oberoi Realty. All the components were trading in the positive zone except Mahindra Life.
Prestige surged 5%, followed by DLF, Godrej Properties, Oberoi Realty, Sobha and Phoenix were up in the range of 1-2% each.
Shares of SunTeck, Brigade and Indiabulls Real Estate were trading flat in today’s trade.
Shares of Brigade Enterprises are trading flat on the NSE after the board approved issuing one bonus share for every two shares held in the company and issuing convertible warrants worth Rs115cr to the promoter group at Rs269 per warrant.
Asian Hotels (East), Alphageo (India), Aries Agro, Balaji Amines, Blue Dart Express, Borosil Glass Works, Century Enka, Control Print, Cox & Kings, Dharani Sugars, DHFL, Prataap Snacks, Excel Crop Care, Foseco India, Gayatri Projects, HIL, Intrasoft Technologies, JBM Auto, Lumax Industries, Man Industries, Prakash Industries, Schaeffler India, Shreyas Shipping, Tata Elxsi and TTK Healthcare among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows on the NSE.
