Shares of Escorts rallied 7% on the BSE in the late morning trade. The company said in the filing that BlackRock sold 0.35% equity of the company and it has reduced the stake to 2.84% vs. 3.20% earlier.
Escorts Ltd is currently trading at Rs607 up by Rs39.05 or 6.88% from its previous closing of Rs567.95 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs583.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs609.50 and Rs582 respectively.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs833.50 on 22-Mar-2019 and a 52-week low of Rs423.30 on 23-Aug-2019. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs581.65 and Rs497.80 respectively.
