Shares of Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO) tanked in the morning trade on the BSE.
The company said in the filing that two borrowing agencies of the company have defaulted in repayment of their dues with a default amount of Rs87.46cr against principal outstanding of Rs869.4cr and has been classified as non-performing assets with an impact of 1.14% on gross NPA.
Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd is currently trading at Rs38, down by Rs2.4 or 5.94% from its previous closing of Rs40.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs38.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs38.50 and Rs36.90 respectively.
